Everywhere I go(specially Wal-Mart), I see Hannah Montana merchandise in tons! WTF?! It gets me so upset!! Wal-Mart has her retarded face in every fucking item ranging from erasers to little girls' underwears. It makes me hate this bitch much more when I see little girls crying at their moms saying-"Mom! I want this package of chones of Hannah Montana!!! Buah!!! Please!!!"...Poor girls, God bless you. Not even Dora the explorer or Barney have such an insane range of articles! It is so not right! NE-ways, I just want to say that if they had toilet paper with her face imprinted on it, I'd buy it! My shit will have such a deserved welcome!
I have received good news!!! I called my Art AP teacher a couple of hours ago and she told me that there are some people interested on buying my poker owls! I'm so excited, however, I'm still thinking on either making prints of the piece or just selling it. I don't know. Tomorrow I'll talk to my teacher about it.
I am going to have to work on my AP portfolio this spring break...the deadline is approaching. I still have a few more pieces to go! Yay! I hope I get credit for college. I need it! College...! Oh, college! That's another story...
Anyways, I worked on my clay this past weekend. I've been working on my Barn Owl. I really love the way it came out. I scratched it a little bit this afternoon. Tomorrow I'll try to finish it at school. I don't think I want to put it in the kiln. No way!! I don't want to risk my beautiful owl. :'(
So I'm back again. I've been very busy working on my art work for my AP portfolio. I must say that is not easy at all. I'm still a newbie to harder medias than pencils and markers. However, I also have to admit that I've been acquiring more experience with ceramics, acrylics, ink, and watercolors. I still try to avoid oil paints though. I think they are too messy. I think that I strictly am going to stick to acrylics. Who knows, maybe I regret saying that later on.
Sometimes I escape from brushes and pencils to visit ceramics for a while. I asked my teacher if I could bring my ceramics equipment home to work on them here, becuase I don't have time for that in school. I have an idea of what I'm gonna do next with my clay. I hope my idea becomes physical.
Anyways. I submitted a watercolor drawing to the stock show in Mercedes about a week ago. Is a parliament(group of owls) playing poker inside of a trunk during the day. The name of the piece is "What owls do during the day". I tried to make it as funny as possible (*booooo!*). I have to admit that I ignored it at first, but I ended up liking it. Ironic, isn't it? My teacher said that supposedly I won something, so I'm gonna go find out today. I'm so excited! I hope my parents keep their word and go with me. I would really love that.
Well, here is the master piece(*silence and pause*......*cheering loudly*) Hope you all like it. I am going to be posting the rest of my latest work as soon as I take pictures of them.
It's been a while since I last posted. This time I have two pieces that I will be submiting to V.A.S.E. I feel kind of nervous, since it's the first time I am going to exhibit my art.
Well, the first piece is an ink drawing of a Barred Owl. I was going to call it, "Innocent Stare", but there's really no meaning or chemistry in the piece, it's just a simple "Barred Owl" standing on a branch. It took me about a week to complete.
The second piece is a version in acrylics of "Wise Stare" in MSPaint(which I had posted already). It was a challenge! I'm not good with paints yet. It doesn't look identical, but I just tried to capture the idea of it.
Hope you all like them!
I drew this picture of Denisse Guerrero in photoshop a while ago. I traced it from an original picture, and I added the colors myself. I took me about 2 hours to finish it, becuase I pause or get distracted a lot. It is the first time that I draw hair that I actually like. The clothes are different than the one from the reference. I like the way Asian clothes look on women, so I drew an Asian shirt on her. It looks kind of plain, but I tried to have the whole attention on her face.
Hope you all like it!
What are five words you really like?

Hello guys!
Another medium that I like to use a lot is MS Paint. Many artists see MS Paint as an extremely limited medium, but I think is very fun and easy to use. I think that once you get used to the tools and tricks, MS Paint becomes a very interesting medium.
I created this piece in MS Paint a while ago. Is Denisse Guerrero from Belanova, the most popular Electropop band in Mexico. I really like the way she sings, and I admire her a lot. Hope you all like it!
Oh, thanks for the comments, Mark! Well, the magnifier is one of the most important tools I use, besides the... read more
